Triumf Hero health game for children with health issues by Triumf Health

Triumf Hero mobile health game is designed for children aged 7-12 having following health conditions:
Cancer
Diabetes
Asthma
Overweight or obesity

The aim of the game is to provide general health and wellbeing information and psychoeducation. That in turn, has the potential to induce positive behavioral change and improve treatment outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended for the users to play the game for approximately one month for the learned behaviors to internalize.

The game is co-designed with children, their families, and healthcare professionals from various cultural backgrounds. We use evidence-based content to monitor and support players’ health behaviors and mental well-being through a game environment. Based on research, it is expected that kids may be more empowered to change their health behaviors if the intervention is delivered in a fun and intuitive way (through a game environment).

Triumf Hero health game invites children to become the protector of the Triumfland city and help the city doctor in keeping the Disease Monster under control. Throughout the fun gameplay, children will learn more about your health and wellbeing. They will get a cool sidekick who is always by their side and helps them with different tips and tricks on how to take better care of themselves. The sidekick also helps the players to better understand their emotions and worries and helps them in becoming a master in problem-solving. Players can go on daily missions with their sidekick to help other kids in the Triumfland city to become healthier and happier. Kids are able to play various mini-games such as the memory game and football, or complete the obstacle course, separate unhealthy foods from healthy options and so on.
