Dr. Kim Hekimian is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia University in New York and an advisor to the Armenian Health Ministry. Dr. Hekimian sat down with CivilNet to discuss the Armenian government’s new approaches to involve professionals from the diaspora in developing Armenia’s public health priorities. Dr. Hekimian also talked about Armenia’s nutrition policies and the work of organizations like the HENAR Foundation in modernizing Armenia’s health care system.
