HAIR ROUTINE | MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS 💛🧠



There are so many ways to put your mental health first. It can look like calling a friend, pampering your curls in self-care or maybe joining a yoga studio! For me I take my medication at night daily even on the days I don’t think I need it. I also start the day doing my hair and makeup and changing out of pj’s even though I work from home. I find the “look good, feel good” concept works well for me personally. Today I used @mauimoisture Lightweight Curls + Flaxseed Shampoo & conditioner and styled with their Frizz Free + Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioning Mist & Coconut Oil Ultra-Hold Defining Gel (my holy grail gel). I added a few pin curls (used a bobby pin) and a pretty butterfly clip to finish the half up half down look. I felt beautiful after and ready to tackle the day!! You can’t pour from an empty cup!! cheesy but true. how do you fill your cup??
